Working with research liquids
Always read the concentration from the label of the bottle you receive before calculating amounts. For accurate, repeatable measurement, use calibrated pipettes rather than counting drops from a dropper, because drop size varies with the liquid, the dropper and the angle at which it is held.
Record the volume withdrawn each time so the remaining contents can be tracked, and avoid diluting a solution into a different solvent unless your procedures call for it. Amber glass helps protect light-sensitive contents, but bottles should still be stored away from direct light and heat.
Liquids, capsules or vials?
Liquids suit protocols that measure by volume or need finely graded amounts. If you prefer identical pre-measured units, the same compounds are available as research capsules. Peptides are mainly supplied as lyophilised powders in our peptide vials range.
Research liquids FAQ
Do research liquids need to be reconstituted?
No. They are supplied ready in solution.
How should research liquids be stored?
Keep containers tightly closed and upright, in a cool place away from heat and direct light, and follow any storage information on the label.
