Peptide Vials

Peptide vials from Gentleman Peptides contain a research compound – or, for our combination vials, a fixed blend – supplied as a lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed vial. Every listing states the compound and the amount per vial, so you can compare products and choose the right one quickly.

What are lyophilised peptide vials?
Lyophilisation, or freeze-drying, removes water from a peptide solution at low temperature and pressure, leaving a dry powder or “cake” in the vial. Dry peptides are generally more stable than peptides kept in solution, which is why most research peptides are supplied this way and prepared in the laboratory only when they are needed. You can read more about the process in this overview of lyophilization.

How to choose between peptide vials
Start with the compound your study requires, then decide on the amount per vial. A smaller vial keeps material in separate, sealed units; a larger vial reduces the number of containers to manage. Single-peptide vials give full control over combinations and ratios, while combination vials fix the ratio at manufacture and save a preparation step. If identical pre-measured units suit your protocol better than a powder, look at our research capsules.
Storing peptide vials
Lyophilised peptides are normally kept sealed, cold, dry and protected from light until use. Let a refrigerated vial reach room temperature before opening to limit condensation, and once a vial has been opened or reconstituted, store and handle it according to your laboratory procedures. Always follow the storage information supplied with the product.
Peptide vials FAQ
Are your peptide vials sold as powders or liquids?
The peptide vials in this category are supplied as lyophilised powders. Ready-made solutions are listed separately under research liquids.
Why are some amounts given in IU instead of mg?
Large biological molecules such as HCG are quantified by biological activity in international units rather than by weight. The unit shown on each listing matches the product label.
Can I buy several peptide vials in one order?
Yes. Add each product to your cart and check out once. For questions about an order, contact support@gentlemanpeps.com.
